AUDITION INFO
"Tri-County's Got Talent"
Attention Tri-County Area Students!
Students (8th-12th grade) from throughout the tri-county area are invited to show off their talent. Performances may include singers, musicians, dancers and others acts.
Auditions will be held in Grand Ledge on two separate dates. Top acts will be selected to compete in the final competition to be held on April 21, 2012.

SUGGESTIONS FOR SUCCESS!
1) Practice, Practice, Practice. Great performances require hard work and practice. Make sure you know your lyrics, music, lines, dance steps, etc.
2) Rehearse in front of family and friends. This will help you to become more at ease while performing on stage in front of the judges and/or audience. They can also give you good feedback.
3) Dress Sharp! Dress the Part! Dress appropriate for your performance. This includes your audition. The audition judges will be scoring by the same criteria as the final competition. You want to earn every point possible.
4) Perform your audition as though you were performing in the final competition if selected. Remember, the judges are using the same scoring criteria for the audition as will be used in the final competition. Stage presence, eye contact, appropriate movements and engaging your audience all help make a great performance.
